2007-08: Appeared in 12 games … made his collegiate debut and recorded a block and steal in six minutes of an 83-63 win over York (N.Y.) … scored a season-high six points and added three steals and two rebounds in a 92-69 victory over Clarkson … drilled a 3-pointer in an 82-70 win over Ithaca … played a season-high 13 minutes in a 73-58 win at Elmira in the season-finale.

Before RIT: Played three years of varsity basketball at Averill Park High School for Head Coach Dave Pugliese … team captain and MVP as a senior … averaged 17 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks per game in his final season … named to the Suburban Council, Regional and Exceptional Senior All-Star teams in 2007 … named to the Section II All-Tournament team … was an ESPN Record Athlete of the Week … also was a four-year letterman in football.

Personal: Environmental science major … son of Dori and Todd Haines.

Coach McVean says: “Adam has come back after a year off with a great deal of maturity, both physically and basketball-wise. He is a mobile power forward who can rebound and step out on the perimeter with excellent range.”
