BEFORE RIT
• Made 83 appearances over three seasons for the Vernon Vipers winning 44 games along with 10 in the postseason.
• Voted Team MVP and Fan Favorite following 2023 and 2024 campaigns.
• Posted a 2.48 GAA and a .931 save percentage in 10 playoff games while also being selected to play in the BCHL All-Star Game to cap the 2023-24 season.
• Also played on two championship teams at Shawnigan Lake School
 
PERSONAL
• Ethan René David was born in Vancouver, B.C.
• Son of Cindy and René David, also has a younger sister – Hannah.
• Enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
• Favorite athletic-related moment was dunking a basketball for the first time.
• Best advice received – “Don’t think just do” because “I was too anxious when I played and this calmed me down and allowed me to focus on one thing at a time.”
• Credits his dad for having the most influence on his playing career – “He knows me the best and knows what I need to hear.”
• Started playing hockey at six years old.
