• AHA All-Academic Team

2023-24
• AHCA All-American Scholar
• Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team
• Totaled 17 points on nine goals and eight assists over 36 games during rookie season.
• Notched first career point with game-tying primary assist in 4-2 victory over Sacred Heart (Oct. 20).
• First goal in a Tiger sweater proved to be the game-winner in 3-2 win at Holy Cross (Oct. 28).
• Three points on two goals and an assist in 9-2 win over Canisius (Feb. 23), before also tallying a goal the next night in 3-2 win versus the Golden Griffins (Feb. 24).
• Found the net in the 7-0 Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinal opening win over Robert Morris (Mar. 8) before adding another goal the following night during a 5-1 win (Mar. 9) to complete the sweep.
• Also logged assists in both ends of the 4-1/5-2 Atlantic Hockey Semifinal sweep over Niagara (Mar. 15-16).
• Tallied an assist in 6-3 setback to Boston University in the NCAA Tournament Regional Semifinals.

BEFORE RIT
• Tied for second in the NAHL with 30 goals while totaling 57 points in 57 games with the 2022-23 East Division Champion Maryland Black Bears.
• Finished seventh in the OJHL and first among rookies with 73 points (34G, 39A) in 52 games with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens in 2021-22 on a line with current RIT teammates Tyler Fukakusa and Matthew Wilde
• Attended Mount Carmel Secondary in 2021

PERSONAL
• Son of Nicole and Vic Catalano
• Has two younger siblings - Nathan and Gabby
• Plays golf and tennis in his spare time
• Previously volunteered at the Glen Eden Food Bank in his hometown Mississauga
• Credits his father for playing a pivotal role during his playing career - "He always pushed me to be at the top of my game."
• Started playing hockey when he was four-years-old after his parents were told, "He will excel in a contact sport."
• Fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Matthew Tkachuk
• Wears No. 19 in honor of Paul Henderson, who scored the game-winning goal for Team Canada in the 1972 Summit Series the day his father was born.
