2008-09: Became a mainstay in the starting lineup, with 27 starts … one of RIT’s two captains … finished fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 7.9 points per game … drained 38 3-pointers, third best on the team … scored a career-high 20 points, on 7-of-8 shooting from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc in an 81-64 win over Elmira … hit a career-best four 3-pointers en route to 16 points in a 74-59 win over Utica … scored in double figures 12 times … pulled down four rebounds in a game three times … dished out a career-best four assists in a 74-68 win over Stevens … averaged 17.3 points and shot 72 percent from the field over a three-game stretch, Dec. 13 to Jan. 3.

2007-08: Appeared in 24 contests … averaged 4.8 points per game … became RIT’s sixth man as the season progressed … RIT’s recipient of the Empire 8 Sportsperson of the Year … scored a career-best 16 points, shooting 4-for-6 from the field with three made 3-pointers and five free throws in a 92-85 win over nationally ranked Stevens … scored 12 points in a 72-71 win over Roberts Wesleyan … had three steals in a win over Clarkson … tallied 13 made 3-pointers … shot 79.5 percent from the free throw line … had four rebounds in a win over Ithaca.

2006-07: Played in 13 games … tallied 14 points … made his collegiate debut in the season opener at D’Youville … scored a season-high five points at Hartwick … had two assists against Ithaca … earned Empire 8 President’s List honors for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.
Before RIT: Earned four varsity letters at Weedsport … played for Head Coach Matt Lipiska … team captain … three-year team MVP … scored 1,124 points at Weedsport … averaged 18 points and six rebounds per game as a senior … earned OHSL Patriot Conference All-League honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior … Auburn Citizen All-Star.

Coach McVean says: “A two-year captain, Adam has always provided great leadership for our young players, while steadily developing his offensive game. He has an excellent basketball IQ, and has demonstrated a consistent work ethic. Last year, he provided some very clutch contributions, and will be expected to do the same this season.”
