Biography

Career: Became the third Tiger to surpass the 100-point plateau since RIT moved to Division I in 2005 … second all-time with 130 career points and 89 assists … 41 goals are fourth-most … fifth with 17 power-play goals … RIT’s all-time Division I leader with a plus-43 rating.

2010-11: Earned All-Atlantic Hockey Association third team honors … appeared in 37 games, leading all Tiger players with 30 assists and 43 points … recorded his second straight 40-plus point season … won RIT’s Dan Barrows Fans Choice and Art Thomas Leadership Awards … earned Mutual of Omaha Stampede All-Tournament Team honors … tallied his 100th career point with a power-play goal late in the first period of a 5-3 win over Connecticut … named the RIT Male Athlete of the Week, Dec. 20 … recorded a seven-game point-scoring streak (2-8-10), Feb. 5 to March 12 … led RIT and was tied for sixth overall, tallying 31 points (9-22-31), and a plus-12 rating in 26 AHA contests … fourth in AHA play with 22 assists … tied a career-high with three assists and was plus-2 in a 6-2 win over Connecticut … dished out three first period assists in a 6-1 win over Sacred Heart … scored two goals and added an assist all in the third period, as RIT rallied from a 1-0 deficit to defeat Canisius, 4-1 … scored two goals in back-to-back contests against Bentley … scored the game-winning shorthanded goal in a 4-1 win against Bentley, then scored a pair of power-play goals in a 3-3 tie against the Falcons the following night … plus-13 overall … recorded a team-best 17 power-play points (5-12-17) … won 208-of-412 face-offs (50.5 percent) … had 14 multiple-point efforts … Tigers were 15-5-5 when he recorded a point … fired 109 shots on goal … earned AHA All-Academic Team honors.

2009-10: Earned All-Atlantic Hockey Association second team honors after setting a Tiger single-season record with 33 assists … second on the squad with 46 points, third most in one season at the Division I level … tied for seventh nationally in assists … dished out three assists and was a career-best plus-4 in the 6-2 win over New Hampshire that vaulted RIT to the Frozen Four … second on RIT with eight power-play tallies … second with 31 assists … finished third in AHA play with 35 points (11-24-35) in 27 games … AHA Player of the Week, Nov. 16 and Feb. 8 … set a career-high with four points on two goals and two assists in a win over Sacred Heart … tallied three assists three times … had a hand in all five RIT goals (1-4-5) during a weekend sweep at Mercyhurst … recorded 18 points (5-13-18) over a team-best 10-game point scoring streak, Oct. 17 to Nov. 20 … scored 14 points (6-8-14) during a seven-game streak, Jan. 30 to Feb. 20 … scored a goal in five straight games, Jan. 30 to Feb. 13 … scored a point in 26 games … Tigers were 20-6-0 in those contests … tallied 14 multiple-point outings … had four games with at least three points … earned AHA All-Academic Team honors.

2008-09: Tallied 31 points (10-21-31) in 33 games played … scored overtime winner, lifting RIT to a 3-2 win over then No. 10 Air Force, and jump-starting the Tigers on an 11-game winning streak … set a Tiger Division I record by recording a point in 11 straight games, Dec. 6 to Jan. 25 … recorded 17 points (3-14-17) during the streak … set a team record with assists (14) in 10 straight games from Dec. 12 to Jan. 25 … second on the team with a plus-12 … tallied 26 points (9-17-26) and was plus-11 in 28 AHA games … recorded points in 24 games … Tigers were 21-3-0 when he scored a point … tallied seven multiple-point efforts … named to the AHA All-Academic team.

2007-08: Shared the Craig Lauzon Award as RIT’s top rookie with teammate Sean Murphy … played his first collegiate contest against Bowling Green … was a plus-4 … scored his first collegiate goal in a 3-2 win at Bentley … scored a goal in three consecutive games, Jan. 12 to Jan. 19 … named the Atlantic Hockey Association Rookie of the Week, Jan. 21 … had a point in 10 different games … named to AHA All-Academic team.

Before RIT: Played for the Aurora Tigers of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (OPJHL) … tallied 31 goals and 38 assists for 69 points … led team to OPJHL title and Royal Bank National championship.
