Before RIT: Played for the Surrey Eagles of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) in 2007-08 … led Surrey to a 33-23-4 record … finished fourth overall in the league with 90 points on 26 goals and 64 assists in 60 games … the 64 assists were third in the league … team MVP … played in the 2007-08 BCHL All-Star Game … was the leading vote-getter among all players to play in the All-Star Game … added 49 points in 57 games during the 2006-07 season.
