Biography

Career: Currently sits ninth in career assists at RIT with 245 … within striking distance of the top-10 in career steals.

2006-07: Played in and started all 27 games … led RIT and was third in the Empire 8 with 132 assists (4.9 per game) … tied for the seventh most assists in one season at RIT … third in Empire 8 in assists … scored a career-best 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field in the Empire 8 Semifinal at St. John Fisher … dished out a career-best 10 assists in a game twice, in the season opening win over D’Youville and home victory over Nazareth … led RIT with 54 steals … second most steals in the conference … fifth most steals in one season at RIT … recorded a career-best six steals to go along with nine assists in an 82-76 win over Nazareth … earned Empire 8 President’s List honors for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.

2005-06: Became a full-time starter midway through the season, playing both guard positions … made his first collegiate start against D’Youville … started the final 15 games of the season … poured in a season-high 10 points twice, against D’Youville and St. John Fisher … led the team with 83 assists … dished out seven assists on three different occasions … had four steals against SUNY Brockport … earned Empire 8 President’s List honors for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.

2004-05: Played in 22 games … dished out 30 assists in just 163 minutes of action … had a season-high assists versus Alvernia … scored three points and recorded three assists in a 84-74 win over Roberts Wesleyan.

Before RIT: Averaged 10.0 points per game, seven assists per game and seven steals per game in his final year at Ballston Spa playing for head coach Tim Moseman ... played three years on the varsity team... two-year captain … all-time leader in assists at Ballston Spa.

Personal: Industrial and systems engineering major … son of Debbie and Tony Roy.
