Biography
Career: Needs just 42 points to become just the 19th player in Tiger history to score 1,000 career points.
2004-05 Season: Played in all 28 games although hampered by various injuries … made 26 starts … finished third on the team, averaging 8.6 points per game … led Tigers in assists (89) … fourth in the conference in assists per game (3.2) … made the game-winning lay-up with 17 seconds left in regulation, as RIT came back from 10 points down in the second half to defeat Ithaca 63-60, 2/19 … tied a career-high with eight rebounds versus Oswego, 12/11 … scored a season-high 14 points and dished out seven assists in a 80-51 win over Elmira, 1/22 … scored in double figures 12 times.
2003-04: Had a tremendous sophomore season... was second on the team in scoring (13.9 ppg)... led the team with 83 assists (3.2)... posted six 20+ point games... had a career-high 29 points, while shooting 13-for-13 from the free-throw line in a win over Western Connecticut, 12/5 ... was a second-team All-Empire 8 selection ... dished out a career-high seven assists on three different occasions … shot .467 from the field and made a career-best 42 3-pointers … scored in double figures 17 times.
2002-03: Was a second-team All-Empire 8 selection his freshman season... second on the team in scoring, averaging 12.7 points per game... third on the Empire 8 in FG% (.515)... second in the Empire 8 in free throw % (.823)... second in the league in 3-pt. FG % (452) … scored a season-high 23 points, while shooting 5-of-6 from the field, 3-for-3 from behind the 3-point line and 10-of-12 from the free-throw line versus Nazareth, 2/4 … had career-highs of eight rebounds and seven steals to go along with 22 points in a win over Utica, 2/14 … shot 11-for-12 from the free-throw line in a win over Elmira, 2/28 … scored in double figures 20 times.
High School: Averaged 22.7 ppg and 7.4 rpg in his senior year at Bishop Timon, playing for Jim Palano ... All-State 6th Team ... All-Western New York 3rd Team ... All-Catholic 1st Team.
Personal: Has a sister, Jamie, who is a sophomore on the RIT Women's hoops team … Criminal Justice major … son of Linda and Fran Snyder.
