Named to 2022 US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) All-Region Cross Country Team.
Named RIT Athlete of the Week for Nov. 15.
Finished ninth out of 172 runners at NCAA Division III Niagara Region Championships to earn invite to Division III National Championships.
Finished 16th out of 109 runners at the Liberty League Cross Country Championships to earn an All-Liberty League Honorable Mention.

2021-22:

Placed first in the 3K at the RIT February Friday Invitational with a time of 9:01.27.
Finished first in the 10K at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic with a time of 32:11.75.
Finished fifth in the 10K at the Liberty League Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a personal-best time of 31:06.05.
Finished fourth in the 10K at the AARTF Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a time of 31:08.56, and was named All-Region in the event.

BEFORE RIT:

Was a member of the Harford Community College athletics team, winning the Adam Thomson 5K race in 2017.
Attended Penn Foster High School.

PERSONAL:

Nickname: "Malum."
Son of Adam and Suwa.
Left his homeland as a young man, settling in America as a refugee.
Born in Chad, grew up in Sudan, but is now an American citizen.
Has worked as a seasonal relief worker with the KIM Foundation, serving refugees from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Favorite athletic moment: Any time it's competition day.
Favorite athlete: Lionel Messi.
Best advice ever taken: Deciding to pick education over everything else happening around him.
Hobbies include hiking, biking, traveling, riding horses, and skydiving.
