SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The RIT women's rowing team competed at the New York State Collegiate Championships on Saturday at Fish Creek in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., turning in strong results across multiple boats.
Women's Varsity 8+
RIT qualified for the Petite Final after a tightly contested heat, finishing just two seconds behind Ithaca and two seconds ahead of Vassar. The Tigers went on to place fifth in the Petite Final, finishing ahead of Army.

Women's Second Varsity 8+
The Second Varsity 8+ posted two solid races on the day, ultimately finishing behind Skidmore in the third‑level final.

Women's Frosh/Novice 4+
RIT captured a state championship in the Frosh/Novice 4+, finishing first and crossing the line five seconds ahead of Division I Long Island University.

Women's Coxed Quad (4x+)
RIT earned a third‑place finish in the women's coxed quad, finishing behind the University of Rochester and Ithaca.
