Ryan Sanders scored four goals to lead the No. 13 Tigers to a 16-11 win over Union, Saturday.

Alexander Chairs grabbed four ground balls and first year face-off specialist Philip Mindardo won 12-of-19 draws and led RIT with eight ground balls. Senior goalie

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Union took a 2-0 lead on back-to-back goals from Hayden Caulkins and Emmett Lyne.
- Lyon scored with 7:04 remaining in the first quarter to cut the Garnett Chargers lead to 2-1.
- Acton scored early in the second quarter to tie the game 2-2 before Lyon's goal with 13:46 to play gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead.
- Union ran off two straight goals taking a 4-3 lead on Walker Popko's goal with 10 minutes remaining in the half.
- Anderson tied the game 4-4 on his goal off an assist from Lyon with 8:58 to play in the half.
- Garrett Salit tallied two straight goals to give Union a 6-4 lead.
- First year attackman Brayden Kuczma scored off an assist from first year attack Russell Bollinger that cut Union's lead to 6-5 at halftime.
- Acton scored 13 seconds into the third quarter to tie the game 6-6.
- The Garnett Chargers scored three straight goals taking a 9-6 lead on Mekhi Taylor's goal with 11:58 to play in the third.
- Minardo scored off the ensuing draw to pull RIT to within two goals.
- Luke Allen scored to give Union a 10-7 lead.
- RIT scored four straight goals to end the third quarter taking an 11-10 lead on McEnerney's goal from Acton with four seconds to play in the frame.
- Sanders and Allison scored back-to-back goals in the fourth quarter to extend RIT's lead to 13-10.
- Salit scored to cut the Tiger's lead to 13-11.
- Allison, Sanders and Acton each scored inside the final six minutes to make it a16-11 final.
GAME NOTES:
- RIT outshot Union 42-34, including 28 on goal.
- The Tigers went 21-of-22 on clearing attempts and won 18-of-31 faceoffs.
- RIT caused 14 turnovers and had 41 ground balls.
