HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Acton, Sanders and Allison each scored to give RIT a 3-0 lead after the first quarter.
- William O'Neill scored back-to-back goals for Nazareth to cut RIT's lead to 3-2 late in the opening quarter.
- Charney, Sanders and first-year Evan Lyon each scored early in the second quarter to extend RIT's lead to 6-2.
- After a Nazareth goal, sophomore Ryan Langille scored followed by a goal from Acton with 6:31 to play to give RIT an 8-3 lead.
- O'Neill scored his third goal of the half with five minutes to play.
- Acton tallied a man-up goal before a Harkins goal with 2:59 remaining in the half to give RIT a 10-4 lead.
- Nazareth's Matthew Farrington and Louis Cogliandro tallied back-to-back goals to cut the Tiger's lead to 10-6 at halftime.
- RIT outscored Nazareth 8-0 in the third quarter to extend its lead to 18-6. Harkins scored twice in the quarter, while Fletcher, Mindardo, Charney, Sanders, Allison and first year Ewen Patrick each scored for the Tigers.
- Rosenberger scored for Nazareth with 9:04 remaining in the four quarter.
- Sophomores Caden Daley and Brenden McLeod each scored for RIT, while Cogliandro scored late in the game to make it a 22-8 final.
GAME NOTES:
- RIT outshot Nazareth 47-27.
- The Tigers went 17-of-18 on clearing attempts and 2-for-7 on man-up.
- RIT won 24-of-34 faceoffs.
