ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT Athletics made history during ROAR Day 2026, raising a record $295,489 from more than 3,000 donors during the university's annual giving campaign, held last Oct. 1-4.
The record-setting total made ROAR Day 2026 the most successful giving day in RIT Athletics history, highlighting the extraordinary commitment of Tiger alumni, families, friends and supporters of RIT student-athletes and Intercollegiate Athletics.
Baseball led all programs with an impressive $95,366 raised, followed by Women's Soccer ($37,935), Men's Lacrosse ($35,350), Swimming & Diving ($20,455) and Rowing ($15,186) rounding out the top-five.
"ROAR Day 2026 was an incredible demonstration of the pride, passion and generosity of the RIT Athletics community," said Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Jacqueline Nicholson. "To raise more than $295,000 with over 3,000 donors supporting our programs is truly remarkable. That level of participation speaks volumes about the connection people have to our programs. It also shows what we can accomplish when the Tiger Family comes together as one department and one community. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave, shared our message and helped make this the most successful giving day in RIT Athletics history."
