MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO – The RIT women's hockey team secured a home Atlantic Hockey America playoff game with a 4-1 win at Lindenwood, Friday.

Emma Pickering each scored for the Tigers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bear scored 23 seconds into the first period to give RIT the lead. Senior forward Jordyn Bear and first year forward Brac Kelley had the assists on the play.
- Pickering scored a power play goal at 12:10 of the opening period to increase the Tiger's lead to 2-0.
- Favro scored on a wrist shot from the face off dot at 12:55 of the second period to give RIT a 3-0 lead.
- Khangsar scored a power play goal at 9:35 of the third period to give the Tigers a 4-0 lead. She picked up a loose puck in the Lindenwood zone and fired a wrist shot over the shoulder of Madison Bowtell for her fifth goal of the season.
- Morgan Neitzke scored at 13:10 of the third period to make it a 4-1 final.
GAME NOTES
- RIT outshot Lindenwood 37-36
- The Tigers went 2-for-6 on the power play, while the Lions were 0-for-1
- Senior goalie Sarah Coe made 35 saves in net, including 19 in the third period, to secure the win
- RIT's 14 wins is the most in a season since the Tigers won 15 games in 2014-15
- RIT's home playoff game will be the first for the Tigers since the 2013-14 season.
