ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Two RIT student-athletes were honored by the Liberty League with weekly accolades. Senior Clifford Gaston was the Men's Lacrosse Offensive Performer of the Week and first year John Elliot was the Men's Track & Field Rookie of the Week.

Gaston tallied five goals on 8-of-13 shooting, five ground balls and six points to lead No. 3 RIT to a 17-13 win over Denison, Sunday. The senior attack scored four goals in the third quarter including two straight at the end of the quarter to extend the Tiger's lead to 14-8. He scored his fifth goal early in the fourth quarter to give RIT a seven-goal lead. 

Elliot set a program record in the 800m at Nazareth's D3 Elite Meet winning in a record time of 1:54.95. Elliot ran a leg in the 4x400m Relay that posted a winning time of 3:19.15.
