Three Tigers land Liberty League weekly accolades

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Three RIT student-athletes were honored by the Liberty League with weekly honors announced by the league, Monday.
 
Junior Gwen Petrie was named the Women's Diver of the Week. On the men's side, junior Luke Albanese was named the Men's Diver of the Week, and junior Jack DeFeo was named the Indoor Track Performer of the Week.
 
Petrie swept the diving events at the Don Richards Invitational, winning the 1M with a score of 428.40 and the 3M with a score of 474.55.
 
Albanese won both diving events at the Don Richards Invitational over the weekend. The junior posted scores of 490.05 in the 1M and 561.35 in the 3M. 
 
DeFeo placed third in the 400m with the eighth fastest time (35.03) in Division III before setting a facility record and the second fastest time in program history in the 500m with a winning time of 1:05.57 at Nazareth's Alumni Classic on Friday.
