Weekend Recap (RIT vs Syracuse)
RIT split a pair of Atlantic Hockey America games against Syracuse, last weekend. The Tigers won 2-1 on Friday followed by a 3-2 loss at Syracuse, Saturday.
First year forward
Brac Kelley tied the game at 1-1 on her power play goal 1:34 into the second period of Friday's game. Graduate student forward
Mia Tsilemos tallied the game-winner at 4:02 of the second to lead the Tigers to a 2-1 win. Senior goalie
Sarah Coe made 26 saves in net to earn the win.
Sophomore defensewoman
Emma Pickering and senior defenser
Kyla Bear each scored in the Tigers 3-2 loss at Syracuse. Pickering tallied a power play goal 5:37 into the third period to cut the Syracuse lead to 3-1, and Bear cut the deficit to 3-2 on her goal at 9:50 of period. Coe finished with 26 saves.
Where They Stand (AHA)
RIT is tied with Syracuse for third in the AHA standings with 20 points apiece. The top two teams in the standings at the end of the regular season receive a first-round bye in the Atlantic Hockey America Tournament. The third seed will host the sixth seed in a first-round game, while the fourth seed will host the fifth seed in the other first-round game.

Emma Pickering scored two third-period goals, including the game-winner.
Sophia Bellina made 42 saves in went and RIT went 4-for-6 on the power play.

The Tigers are 1-4-1 splitting a pair of games against No. 6 Colgate (Oct. 11-12) and went 0-1-1 versus No. 11 St. Lawrence (Oct. 25-26). The Tigers lost 5-2 at No. 7 Cornell (Nov. 26) and 5-1 (Dec. 31). RIT dropped a pair of games at No. 8 Penn State (Jan. 10-11) but host the Nittany Lions on Feb. 14-15 to close out the regular season.
