Men's Soccer loses 1-0 at Geneseo

GENESEO, N.Y. – The RIT men's soccer team lost 1-0 at Geneseo in non-conference action, Wednesday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Senior goaltender Jason Trapp made two saves in a scoreless first half.
  • Senior midfielder David Merriman had a shot from the top of the Geneseo penalty area blocked away in 24th minute.
  • Sophomore midfielder Adam Eastman had a shot from distance in the 32nd minute saved by Geneseo keeper, Vincent Maronski.
  • Geneseo's Owen Burke scored in the 59th minute off an assist from Vasion Sinjari to give the Knights the lead.
 
GAME NOTES
  • Geneseo outshot RIT 10-4
  • Trapp made three saves in net
  • The Tigers had nine corner kicks to one for the Geneseo.
