Men's Soccer wins 1-0 at Bard

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – RIT junior Tate Pottle scored to lead the Tigers to a 1-0 win at Bard in Liberty League action, Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Senior goalkeeper Jason Trapp made five saves in a scoreless first half.
  • First-year defender Adrian Sobczak, senior midfielder John Lucas and first-year forward Da'Vid Robinson each had shots on goal for RIT in the opening frame.
  • Pottle scored with a blast into the low left corner off an assist from Sobczak in the 61st minute to give RIT the lead.
  • Trapp made two second-half saves, including one in the 88th minute from Jamie Coequyt to preserve the Tiger's lead.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot Bard 16-13, including eight on target.
  • Trapp made seven saves in net to earn the win.
  • The Tigers had four corner kicks to seven for the Raptors.
