Men's Soccer downs Penn State Behrend, 1-0

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT first year forward Idriss Diallo scored his first collegiate goal to lead the Tigers to a 1-0 win over Penn State Behrend, Wednesday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Diallo had two shots on target early in the first half saved by Penn State Behrend keeper, Evan Dougal in a scoreless first half.
  • The Lions were whistled for a foul inside their penalty box leading to a RIT penalty kick.
  • Diallo fired a penalty shot into the corner in the 52nd minute to give the Tigers the lead.
  • Senior goalie Jason Trapp tipped a shot over the cross bar from Penn State Behrend's Chris Profaca in the 68th minute to preserve the Tiger's lead.
 
GAME NOTES:
  • Penn State Behrend outshot RIT, 12-11.
  • RIT had two corner kicks to eight for the Lions
  • Trapp made four saves in net to earn the win.
