Men's Soccer falls to Skidmore, 1-0

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's soccer team lost 1-0 to Skidmore in Liberty League action, Friday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Skidmore's Alec Llerena scored in the 38th minute to give the Thoroughbreds the lead.
  • RIT fired 10 shots in the opening half, including two on target from senior midfielder John Lucas in the 11th minute and first-year forward Idriss Diallo in the 13th minute.
  • First-year forward Idriss Diallo had his penalty kick saved early in the opening half.
  • RIT had four shots on target in the second half, including a chance for Lucas in the 56th minute.
  • First-year defender Adrian Sobczak had a shot on target in the 67th minute.
  • Senior goalie Jason Trapp made a diving save in the 87th minute to keep a one-goal game.
