Weekend Recap (RIT vs. No. 7 Colgate)
RIT split a pair of non-conference games against No. 7 Colgate, losing 5-1 on Friday before a 4-2 win the following day. Sophomore defensewoman
Emma Pickering scored a goal and junior goalie
Sophia Bellina made 29 saves in Friday's loss. Bellina had an assist on Pickering's goal, the first of her collegiate career.

Bronwyn Khangsar scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 4-2 victory. Khangsar's goal at 14:38 of the third period off an assist from first year forward
Brac Kelley gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead. Senior forward
Kylie Aquaro tied the game at 1-1 on her power play goal midway through the second period and Kelley gave RIT a 2-1 lead on her first collegiate goal at 9:06 of the third. Sophomore forward
Addie Alvarez tallied an empty-net goal to make it a 4-2 final.

Sarah Coe made 28 saves in net to improve to 3-0-0 on the season. Kelley finished with a season-high three points and two assists and Aquaro finished with a goal and an assist.

First Win Over a Ranked Opponent Since…
RIT's 4-2 win over No. 7 Colgate last Saturday is the first result against a ranked opponent since the Tigers tied No. 10 Penn State 2-2 on Jan. 14, 2023.

Off to a Fast Start
RIT is 4-2-0 through its first six games. That is the best start to a season since the Tigers began 3-2-1 to begin the 2014-15 season.

Honored by Atlantic Hockey America
Coe and Kelley were honored on Monday with weekly honors. Coe was the Goaltender of the Week while Kelley earned Rookie of the Week honors. It is the first time Coe has been honored by the league this season and the fifth time in her career. She was a two-time Goaltender of the Week in 2023-24.

Aquaro (18g, 37a, 55p) is in a tie for 50th on RIT's all-time scoring list. She is seven points shy of 40th all-time. Coe is third all-time with 70 appearances in net.

RIT split a pair of games against Colgate last weekend. The Tigers host St. Lawrence Oct. 25-26.
