OSWEGO, N.Y. – RIT sophomore
Nick Smith won his match at 285 lb. to help the Tigers to a 21-18 win at Oswego, Thursday.
Trailing 18-17, Smith defeated Kevin Arriaza with an 11-1 major decision in the final bout to clinch the match for RIT.
Junior
Lee Rubin began the dual with a technical fall victory over Michael McHale at 125 lb. Senior
Mike Glynn III got RIT back on track with an 8-4 win over Tyler Rossini at 149 lb. after the Lakers won decisions at 133 and 141.

Liam Strouse defeated Steven Felice with a technical fall at 165 lb. to give RIT a 13-5 lead, and senior
Ben Dougherty picked up an 8-0 major decision over Bryce Smith at 184 lb.to give RIT a 17-15 lead.
Oswego took the lead with a win at 197 lb. before Smith came through with the win in the final bout.
RIT returns to action on Saturday (Jan. 27) at the Ken Ober Memorial Tournament at Elizabethtown beginning at 9:30 a.m.
