ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's hockey team hit the road to play a pair of College Hockey America games at Mercyhurst this Friday and Saturday (Jan. 26-27).

Kyla Bear tied the score at 2-2. The Lions scored the game-winner 1:30 into overtime. Sophomore goalie
Sophia Bellina made 33 saves in net.

Nicole Ness scored 8:30 into the first period, while first year defensewoman
Emma Pickering scored at 16:20 of the frame to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead. Lindenwood scored twice in the second period to tie the score and two more in the third to make it a 4-2 final. Bellina tied her career-high making 44 saves.

Emma Pickering is second in the CHA with 49 blocked shots, while senior defensewoman
Mia Tsilemos is tied for sixth with 42 blocks. Aquaro and Tsilemos are tied for fourth in the league with a +8, while Ness is tied for eighth with a +7.

Linda Rulle scored for RIT, while Sydney Pederson recorded a goal and an assist for the Lakers.
Emma Roland scored twice, including the game-winner 42 seconds into overtime in game two. Bellina made 28 saves in net to earn the victory. It was the first win for RIT over the Lakers since a 1-0 victory on Jan. 6, 2020.
