HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers got things going with a power play goal with 2:41 left in the first. A shot by Wilkie from the left point went wide of the left post, but deflected off the end boards to Cassaro in the right faceoff circle for a one-timer inside the near post.
- RIT made it a 3-0 game with two goals in the first five minutes of the second. Following a RMU cross checking penalty, Fukakusa won a faceoff in the left circle that cycled through junior forward Tanner Andrew to Lapointe at the right point for a long-range goal through traffic at 1:52. Fukakusa later cleaned up a loose puck in front of the Colonial crease off a shot from the point by senior defenseman Aiden Hansen-Bukata at 4:16.
- Robert Morris made it a one-goal game with a pair of goals in a six-minute stretch later in the second. George Krotiris scored on a short rebound off RIT junior goaltender Tommy Scarfone's pads inside the right post at 12:56 before Cameron Garvey scored on a rebound over a diving Scarfone at 18:55.
- The Tigers scored with 33.3 left in the period to retake a 4-2 lead after Fukakusa dropped a pass to Blom for a blast from the top of the right faceoff circle.
- Robert Morris once again pulled back within one at 10:08 of the third, but Wilkie answered less than a minute later after stealing a puck in the left faceoff circle of the Colonial zone and picking the top corner, far-post, at 11:05. Wilkie scored on an identical shot four minutes later, this time off a feed by senior forward Cody Laskosky, to put the game out of reach.

- Scarfone won his 43rd-career game in a Tiger sweater, tying Logan Drackett '21 for the most wins in D1-era history. Credited with 38 saves for his 31st career game with better than 30 saves, he also became the third D1-era Tiger to surpass 2,100 career saves with 2,115 to date.
- Appearing in his 100th career game in a Tiger sweater, Wilkie became the 20th player in program history (D1-era) to eclipse the 90-point plateau, moving into a tie for 18th place with Will Calverley '22 on the all-time scoring list with 91 career points. He now leads the Tigers with 21 points (10G/11A).

- RIT tied a season-high with three power-play goals on five attempts, while killing five of the Colonials' six extra-man opportunities.
