First-year forward
Addie Alvarez scored her first collegiate goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw at RPI. Alvarez scored from the left-slot early in the third period off assists from junior forward
Jordyn Bear and sophomore forward
Jaidan Fahrny. RIT outshot RPI, 36-24, while Junior goalie
Sarah Coe made 33 saves, including 15 in the second period.

Bear scored early in the third period in Saturday's 1-1 tie, poking in a shot off a loose puck in front of the RPI goal at 6:35 of the third on assists Fahrny and junior defensewoman
Jessie Burks to give the Tigers the lead. Coe made 35 stops to earn the tie.

RIT is tied for third in the CHA averaging 1.0 goals per game. The Tigers are tied for second with Penn State, allowing 1.00 goals per contest. The Tigers is tied for first in the league, killing 9-of-9 penalties at RPI last weekend. RIT leads the league with 41 blocked shots, averaging 20.5 per contest.

About Assumption
Assumption begins its first full season as a Division I program in 2023-24. The Greyhounds will compete in New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) along with Franklin Pierce, Long Island University, Post, Sacred Heart, Saint Anselm and Saint Michael's. Assumption was picked to finish seventh in the NEWHA Preseason Poll and features twenty first-year players.
