CANTON, N.Y. - The RIT women's tennis team competed wrapped up competition at the St. Lawrence Invitational, Sunday.
In singles, first-year
Maya Clinard went 2-1 with wins over Molly Jespersen (8-2) and Natalie Pipes (8-0). Classmate
Maya Clinard recorded a 2-1 record, defeating Samantha Rava (8-7) and Pipes (8-5).
Senior
Jackie Drozd and sophomore
Anika Galkiewicz each posted 2-1 records in singles. Drozd defeated Katie Kujawa (8-3) and Abigail Rockwood (8-0), while
Anika Galkiewicz took down Elena DeRiso (8-1) and Talie Wutz (8-6).
In doubles, the team of Kronenberg and Clinard went 2-1 with an 8-2 win over Rockwood and Kujawa opening-round match, but lost 8-5 in their second match. The duo came back to beat Pipes and Rava, 8-1 on Sunday.

RIT returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 23) when the Tigers begin competition at the ITA Northeast Regional Championship at William Smith.
