ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior midfielder Dylan Bruno was named a 2023 College Sports Communicators Third-Team Academic All-American, Wednesday.
 
The 2022 NCAA Elite 90 winner for men's lacrosse, Bruno holds a 3.92 grade point average in microelectric engineering. A 2023 Liberty League All-Academic selection, Bruno tallied 21 points on 13 goals and eight assists in 19 games played, and was named a 2023 RIT Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar.
 
He is the seventh men's lacrosse player to receive Academic All-American honors joining Tyler Sceviour (2021), Cam Isaac (2018, 2019), Kurt Utzman (1996), Matt Daniels (1994) and Ted Diehl (1987).
 
RIT finished with a 21-2 record, including its 11th straight Liberty League title before advancing to the NCAA Tournament Semifinals.
