ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT will host either New England College or Western Connecticut in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament next Saturday (May 13) at 12:00 p.m., as the 38-team field was announced Sunday night.
RIT will also host Williams and Babson in Saturday's other second round game at 3:00 p.m. with the winners advancing to Sunday's third round at 3:00 p.m.
New England College and Western Connecticut square off on Wednesday (May 10) in one of six first-round games across the country.
The two-time defending national champion Tigers will make their 13th-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance as well as the 24th in program history.
RIT (18-1) defeated Union, 19-8, on Sunday to clinch its 11th straight Liberty League title.
RIT came back to defeat Union, 12-10, to win the 2022 national title after defeating Salisbury, 15-14, in 2OT in 2021. Both games were played in East Hartford, Conn.
