UTICA, N.Y. – The RIT Men's Track & Field team competed at the Fast Chance Meet at Utica College on Sunday.

• Graduate student Matthew Funicelli won the discus with an Atlantic Region-qualifying mark of 45.52m/149'0', setting a facility record for Utica's complex. Funicelli also had an Atlantic Region-qualifying mark in the shot put (15.91m/52'2.5''), where he finished third.
• Junior Justin Jantzi placed second in the 400 with an Atlantic Region-qualifying time of 48.82.
• Sophomore Matt Chaikowsky finished third in the 800 with an Atlantic Region-qualifying time of 1:56.23.
• Sophomore Peter Anderson finished third in the high jump with a mark of 1.91m/6'3.25''.

RIT returns to action at the Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships, beginning Wednesday, May 17.
