  • RIT took an early lead on a single in the first by senior left fielder Chris Reilly to score Dodig and make the score 1-0.
  • The Tigers extended the lead to 4-0 in the third, as Reilly was hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded, Bagley drove in a run on a sacrifice, and sophomore right fielder Adam Marsh had an RBI single.
  • Skidmore tied the score in the third with a four-run rally that culminated in a two-run single by Brendan O'Neill.
  • The Thoroughbreds took the lead, 9-4, in the fourth with a five-run inning that included a three-run home run by Sam Kornet.
