Celeste Brown announced the schedule for the 2023-24 season, Monday. The Tigers' 33-game regular-season slate features 20 College Hockey America (CHA) contests as well as 14 home dates.
"We are extremely excited to share the 2023-24 schedule," said Brown, who enters her fourth season on the Tiger bench. "The line-up of teams spans all Division-I leagues and provides some match-ups that are sure to be exciting."
RIT kicks off the season with back-to-back non-conference doubleheaders at RPI (Sept. 23-24) and Assumption the following weekend (Sept. 29-30).
The Tigers open the home portion of the schedule with two games opposite Union (Oct. 13-14) as part of Brick City Homecoming and Family Weekend, followed a trip to St. Lawrence (Oct. 19) for a single game.
RIT plays eight-straight CHA games, starting conference play with two home series versus Lindenwood (Oct. 27-28) and Mercyhurst (Nov. 3-4). After a road trip to Robert Morris (Nov. 17-18), the Tigers close the first semester with a home-and-home series against Syracuse, (Dec. 1-2).
The Tigers return to action following holiday break with a pair of games at St. Michael's (Dec. 29-30) before ringing in 2024 with a trip to Brown (Jan. 5-6). RIT returns to conference play hosting Penn State (Jan. 12-13), before traveling to Lindenwood (Jan. 19-20) and Mercyhurst (Jan. 26-27).
RIT hosts Robert Morris (Feb. 2-3), before a home-and-home series against Syracuse (Feb. 9-10) and the regular-season finale at Penn State (Feb. 16-17).
"The second half of the season is always gritty and comes down to the wire," continued Brown. "We cannot wait to see all our Tiger fans soon!"
