HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The RIT men's tennis team defeated Houghton, 8-1 in non-conference action, Tuesday.
The second-doubles team of graduate student
Brennan Bull and sophomore
Joel Pho beat Micah Schilke and Marcelo Garcia, 8-1.
Sophomore
Verosh Jayanetti and first-year
Brian Bork teamed up to defeat Nolan Zach and Matt Cicero, 8-2 at third doubles.
Sophomore
Grahith Movva was a 6-3, 6-3 winner over Schilke at first doubles, while sophomore
Christian Berko beat Jaimie Staerkle, 6-2, 6-4 at second doubles.
Bull, Bork, Pho and sophomore
Max Chang won their singles matches in straight sets.
RIT returns to action on Wednesday (March 29) against St. John Fisher at 3:30 p.m.
