ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's tennis team defeated St. John Fisher, 9-0 in non-conference action, Wednesday.
The first-doubles team of sophomores
Grahith Movva and
Christian Berko defeated Sean Danahy and Jake Anthony, 8-2. Graduate student
Brennan Bull and sophomore
Joel Pho teamed up to win 8-1 at second doubles, while the team of sophomore
Verosh Jayanetti and first-year
Brian Bork defeated the team of Will Chubb and Ryan Wilson, 8-2 at third doubles.
Sophomore
Max Chang defeated Nick Licciarddello, 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles and Berko needed three sets to defeat Anthony at second singles. Movva, Bull, Bork and Jayanetti won their singles matches in straight sets.
RIT has won three straight matches and returns to action on Saturday (April 1) at St. Lawrence at 9:00 a.m.
