BROCKPORT, NY – The RIT Men's Track & Field team finished fourth out of 19 teams at the Brockport Multi & Invitational on Saturday.

• Sophomore Matt Chaikowsky set a personal-best 1:55.60 as he won the 800.
• Graduate student Matthew Funicelli topped the podium in shot put with a 15.64m/51'3.75'', and finished second in weight throw with a throw of 16.44m/53'11.25''.
• Sophomore Ben Sheehan set a personal best in the 60, finishing second with a time of 7.12.
• Senior Tyler Hulse placed second in the high jump with a mark of 1.96m/6'5''.
• Sophomore Joseph Coughlin, sophomore Noah Koeng, and first-year Derick Koen finished third in the 1000, pole vault, and 3000, respectively.
• Geneseo won the team competition with 112 points, followed by Brockport (110), University of Rochester (108), the Tigers (106), and the University of Toronto (65).

The Tigers return to action on Friday, Feb. 10, at the second RIT Friday Meet of the season. Competition is set to start at 4:00 PM at Gordon Field House.
