No. 12 Wrestling competes at Mideast/South Futures

Allentown, PA – The No. 12 RIT Wrestling team competed at the Mideast/South Futures at Muhlenberg College on Sunday.

Sophomore Lee Rubin led the way, finishing second in the 133 lb. division by winning three straight matches before falling to Wilfred Jimenez in the finals. First-year teammate Gabe Scalise placed third in the same division.

Junior Liam Strouse (165 lb.) and first-year Zach Swyers (174 lb.) finished third and fourth in their divisions, respectively.

The Tigers will return to action on Friday, Feb. 24, at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championship.
