ROCHESTER, N.Y. - First year Faye Kaplinski was named the Liberty League Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week, announced Monday.

Kaplinski tallied a game-high 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting to lead the Tigers to a 67-53 win at Brockport, Tuesday. Kaplinski shot 4-for-6 from the foul line and grabbed four rebounds in 19 minutes of action.

RIT returns to action on Friday (Dec. 1) at Bard in the Liberty League opener at 5:30 p.m.
