HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lauren Stenslie scored off an assist from Kate Haug at 9:50 of the first period to give St. Thomas the lead.
- Junior goalie Sarah Coe made 12 stops for the Tigers in the opening period.
- Gabby Billing gave the Tommies a 2-0 lead on her short-handed goal at 10:19 of the second period.
- Junior forward Emma Roland scored a power play goal at 11:12 of the second off assists from sophomore forwards Jordyn Bear and Kylie Aquaro to make it 2-1.
- Billing, Clough and Allie Monrean all scored in a three-goal third period for the Tommie to make it a 5-1 final.
GAME NOTES
- St. Thomas outshot RIT 37-19.
- The Tigers were 1-for-4 on the power play and blocked eight shots.
