ELIZABETHTOWN, PA – The RIT Wrestling team competed at the Kenneth D. Ober Memorial Tournament on Saturday.
Sophomore
Dara Heydarpour had the top finish among the Tigers, finishing fourth in the 157 lb. division. Advancing straight to the quarterfinal on a bye, Heydarpour pinned Roanoke's Will Kennedy but fell in the semis to Centenary's Cameron Bruffy. He won the consolation semifinals by no contest before dropping the third-place match Norwich's Cameron Wooldridge.
Sophomore
Lee Rubin (133 lbs.) and junior
Josh Post (141 lbs.) each placed fifth in their weight classes.
The Tigers compete next on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Brockport.
