HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kiara Zanon scored two goals in a three-goal first period for the Nittany Lions, while Coe made 11 saves for RIT.
- RIT fired seven shots on target in a scoreless second period, while Coe had 10 stops in the period.
- Olivia Wallin scored early in the third period to give Penn State a 4-0 lead.
- Maloney scored at 10:01 of the third off an assist from sophomore defensewoman Kyla Bear.
- Bear scored at 15:03 of the third off an assist from senior forward Hana Solinger to make it 4-2.
GAME NOTES
