Women's Hockey loses 4-2 at No. 12 Penn State

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA – RIT junior forward Lindsay Maloney scored a goal in the Tigers 4-2 loss at No. 12 Penn State in College Hockey America action, Friday.
 
Sophomore forward Jordyn Bear tallied her first collegiate goal, while sophomore goalie Sarah Coe made 34 saves.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Kiara Zanon scored two goals in a three-goal first period for the Nittany Lions, while Coe made 11 saves for RIT.
  • RIT fired seven shots on target in a scoreless second period, while Coe had 10 stops in the period.
  • Olivia Wallin scored early in the third period to give Penn State a 4-0 lead.
  • Maloney scored at 10:01 of the third off an assist from sophomore defensewoman Kyla Bear.
  • Bear scored at 15:03 of the third off an assist from senior forward Hana Solinger to make it 4-2.
