Women's Soccer ties Nazareth, 0-0

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's soccer team tied Nazareth, 0-0 in non-conference action, Tuesday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Sophomore forward Sam Halligan led RIT with three shots on target in the first half. Sophomore forward Olivia Harris had her shot from 15-yards out saved over the cross-bar by Nazareth keeper, Annika Monfort late in the opening half.
  • First-year forward Elena Onodera had a shot from 15-yards out in the 81st minute hit off the cross-bar.
  • Senior forward Madison Corso had her shot saved in the 85th minute, while Onodera had another shot saved in the dying moments of regulation.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot Nazareth 10-4, including six on net.
  • The Tigers had seven corner kicks.
  • Senior goalkeeper Darcie Jones made two saves to earn the shutout.
