Women's Soccer loses to Vassar

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's soccer team lost 1-0 to Vassar in Liberty League action, Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Vassar's Noelle Namba scored gave Vassar a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute, scoring off a shot from 20-yards out.
  • Sophomore forward Sam Halligan had a shot hit off the cross bar in the 11th minute for RIT.
  • First-year defender Roberta Moger saw her shot go just wide in the 76th minute, while Halligan had a shot from the top of the penalty box miss wide in the 78th minute.
 
GAME NOTES
  • Each team had 10 shots.
  • Halligan had three shots, including one on net for the Tigers.
  • Senior goalkeeper Darcie Jones made one save in net for RIT.
