Athena Vasdani tied the score at 2-2 on her goal early third period in the Tigers 3-2 loss at UConn, Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UConn's Meghane Duchesne-Chalitoux scored on a tip-in at 17:51 of the first period.
- Dobson scored from in front of the UConn net at 18:10 of the second to tie the score at 1-1. Sophomore defensewoman Addie Carr dug the puck out of the corner and fed a pass to Dobson in the slot.
- Coryn Tormala scored a power play goal 1:29 after RIT's goal to give the Huskies a 2-1 lead.
- Vasdani tallied a power play goal 1:18 into the third period, tying the game at 2-2. She poked in a loose puck from in front of the Huskies net off a shot from sophomore defensewoman Kyla Bear.
- Claire Peterson scored with 2:11 remaining in regulation on a shot from the point to give the Huskies a 3-2 lead.
GAME NOTES
- RIT outshot UConn 39-29
- The Tigers went 1-for-4 on the power play
- Dobson scored a goal on seven shots. Junior forward Lindsay Maloney had five shots.
