RIT responded with a Benard kill and a service ace by junior defensive specialist Hailey Blixt, before Rochester retied the score, 26-26. A Benard kill followed by a Rochester hitting error pushed the Tigers to the third-set win.
  • Rochester opened an early 9-5 lead in the fourth, but RIT scored eight of the next 12 points to draw even, 13-13. The Yellowjackets won the next point, but the Tigers scored five-straight points to start a 9-3 run on the way to a 22-16 lead and the fourth-set win.
  • RIT broke a 5-5 tie in the final set with a 5-1 run for a 10-6 lead. Rochester scored the next two points to get back within three, but RIT won the final five points, including two Cox kills, to complete the comeback.
