Men's Soccer wins 3-0 at Mount Aloysius

CRESSEN, Pa. – RIT senior defender Randy Dickersbach notched his first goal of the year and added an assist to lead the Tigers to a 3-0 victory at Mount Aloysius, Saturday.  

First-year forward Tate Pottle scored his first collegiate goal and senior forward Tommy Reed tacked on his first tally of the fall in the victory. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Dickersbach opened the scoring in the eight minute, converting a corner kick by senior midfielder Jonathan Cohen
  • Pottle scored out of a scrum in front of the Mount Aloysius goal in the 62nd minute to put the Tigers up, 2-0.
  • Reed found the net 15 minutes later off assists from Dickersbach and Cohen to put the game out of reach.  
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot Mount Aloysius, 15-4, including eight shots on net. 
  • RIT took eight corner kicks, while limiting the Mounties to one. 
  • Tiger sophomore goalie Jason Trapp made one save to earn his first win of the season. 
UP NEXT:
RIT is scheduled to begin Liberty League play on Tuesday (Sept. 20) against Hobart at 7:00 p.m.
