GENESEO, N.Y. – The RIT men's soccer team lost 2-1 at Geneseo, Saturday. Senior midfielder
Jonathan Cohen converted a penalty kick for the Tigers in the 85th minute.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneseo's Tyler Lewandowski gave the Knights a 1-0 lead on his goal in the 26th minute off an assist from Justin Arilotta.
- Cohen had a chance in the 35th minute, but his free kick clanged off the post and away.
- Lewandosky gave the Knights a 2-0 lead on his second goal of the game in the 64th minute.
- Jaden Winall Longdon drew a foul inside the Geneseo box on a 50-50 ball in the air with five minutes to play. Cohen buried the penalty into the corner to pull RIT to within 2-1.
GAME NOTES
- RIT fired 11 shots including four on target, while Geneseo finished with nine shots and three on goal.
- Each team finished with four corner kicks.
- Sophomore goalie Jason Trapp made one save in net for RIT, while Will Price made three stops for Geneseo
