ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT Director of Athletic Communications Tim Volkmann announced Dan Glickman has been named Athletic Communications Assistant for the 2022-23 academic year.
 
Glickman comes to RIT with years of experience in communications and journalism, including most recently as a producer at News10NBC in Rochester. He also has spent time as a freelance writer with local publications such as Messenger-Post and Pickin' Splinters.

"We are excited to welcome Dan to the department," said Volkmann. "He has a unique background and has lots of experience which will be great assets to our operation throughout the year."
 
A St. John Fisher graduate and native of nearby Fairport, Glickman looks forward to bringing his passion for sports and storytelling to RIT. 
 
During his career, Glickman has covered live events and written features about local teams and athletes, and has been recently credited with breaking news about the Rochester Red Wings minor league baseball team picked up by national reporters for publications such as MLB.com, and The Washington Post.
 
In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports, writing, reading, and spending time with his dog, Mac.
