Men’s Tennis falls to Rochester, 6-3

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Freshman Grahith Movva won second singles with a pair of 6-3 sets and combining with freshman Christian Berko, also took third doubles (8-4), but it was Rochester with a 6-3 win in Liberty League play on Saturday.

The Tigers came out of doubles play with a 2-1 lead after senior Jake Wolicki and graduate student Jacob Meyerson prevailed, 8-6, in first doubles. Freshman Joel Pho and senior Carter Casimir fell in second doubles, 8-1.

In singles play, Berko fell 6-3, 6-1, in first singles. Wolicki lost 6-3, 6-2, in third singles. Pho fell by 6-2, 6-1 in fourth singles. Freshman Max Chang lost in fifth singles, 6-1, 6-3. Casimir fell by 6-4 and 6-2 sets in sixth singles.

Men's Tennis next hosts Daemen on Sunday, April 3 at 3:30 p.m. in non-conference action at the Gordon Field House.
