ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's tennis team fell to Niagara, 7-2, in non-conference action at the Gordon Field House, Tuesday.

Joel Pho and senior
Carter Casimir fell 8-3 in second doubles to Eduardo Villalpando and Jorge Sedeno to give Niagara a 1-0 lead. The Tigers took the next two doubles matches for a 2-1 lead heading into singles play. Senior
Jake Wolicki and graduate student
Jacob Meyerson defeated Tanner Bedard and Gurustat Makkar in first doubles, 8-6. Freshmen
Grahith Movva and
Christian Berko beat Manuel Alonso and Salvador Vazquez in third doubles, 8-5.
In singles play, Berko fell in first singles to Alonso, 7-5, 6-0. Movva lost to Bedard in second singles, 6-0, 6-1. Wolicki suffered a setback in third singles to Sedeno, 6-4, 6-1. Pho fell in fourth singles to Makkar, 6-1, 6-2. Freshman
Max Chang lost to Roberto Vaca in fifth singles, 6-0, 6-3. Casimir was defeated in sixth singles by Villalpando, 6-2, 6-3.
Men's Tennis will next face the University of Rochester on Saturday, April 2 at 12 p.m. with the venue to be determined.
