Kaleesha Joseph and sophomore guard
Emma Waite were named to the 2022 Liberty League Women's Basketball All-Conference Team, announced Tuesday. Joseph was a first team selection, while Waite was a honorable mention pick.
Joseph led RIT and was fourth in the Liberty League, averaging 17.0 points per game. She led the league, shooting a program-record 53.4 percent from the floor, and was fifth in the league, averaging 9.4 rebounds per contest. A three-time Liberty League Performer of the Week, Joseph recorded six double-doubles last season, scoring a career-high 33 points against Nazareth.
Waite was second on the team and eighth in the Liberty League, averaging 13.2 points per game. She finished fifth in assists (3.1 APG) and tied for eighth in steals (1.6 SPG). She scored in double-figures 14 times, including a season-high 22 points against William Smith. She averaged 13.3 points, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals in Liberty League competition.
RIT finished with 2021-22 with 12 wins, including nine in Liberty League play.
